ARK were a progressive metal band from Norway founded by guitarist Tore Østby and drummer John Macaluso. With vocalist Jørn Lande, they released two acclaimed studio albums—the self‑titled debut (1999) and Burn the Sun (2001)—before disbanding. A brief reunion followed in 2009–2011.
